Lila is a New York City-based commercial and editorial photographer. Previously, she worked as the 2025 Visuals Intern at The Charlotte Observer.
Lila graduated from the University of Michigan in 2025 with a B.A. in Program in the Environment, specializing in Environmental Storytelling. While there, she served as the 2024 Managing Photo Editor and 2023 Senior Audience & Engagement Editor for The Michigan Daily.
She is passionate about capturing visual narratives that engage people and places with their communities. Her goal is always to tell honest and compelling stories that resonate with her audience. Especially those focused on environmental issues.
Previous editorial and commercial clients include Teen Vogue, Time Magazine, and the Detroit Tigers.
Lila is an NPPA member. The MPPA recognized her as a finalist for the 2025 MPPA College Photographer of the Year. Additionally, she was recognized as a finalist for the 2024 College Media Association Pinnacle Awards in the portraiture category.
